Italian School
The Italian school is the most wide ranging in terms of chronology. We have drawings from the 16th century up till the 19th century. They also range in geography from the disegnio centric Florentine style to the more energetic venetian style leading up to the more classically academic style of the Bolognese academy of the Carracci and the Baroque art center of Rome. The 19th century work is more uniform in style with setups and executions similar to that done in Paris.
